Part-time CDL drivers often encounter variability in their work schedules, including irregular hours, last-minute route changes, or fluctuating weekly workloads. These challenges can be managed by maintaining open communication with dispatchers, regularly checking route assignments, and being flexible with availability. Part-time CDL drivers can work other part-time jobs, but they must ensure they meet the hours and scheduling requirements for their commercial driver's license and employer policies. Proper planning and certification are essential for balancing multiple jobs safely and legally.
