Harris Regional Hospital provides comprehensive diagnostic imaging and interventional services in comfortable, convenient surroundings. We are proud to offer a filmless environment, complete with a picture-achieving communication system (PACS). The PACS digitally stores and displays medical images allowing for immediate access to patient information and increased efficiency. Our radiologists are certified by the American Board of Radiology with extensive training and experience in all areas of technology. We offer our patients the latest technology in diagnostic testing while staying close to home.

How you'll contribute

A CT Tech who excels in this role:

Reviews patient history and physician's orders.

Educates patient regarding procedures, equipment and exam to ensure patient's understanding and cooperation.

When ordered, prepares and administers contrast media and/or medications within scope of practice.

Monitors patient condition continually and reports/responds to changes in status as appropriate.

Prepares equipment and supplies.

Implements safety standards and performs appropriate quality control procedures on equipment.

Troubleshoots, resolves, and/or reports equipment malfunctions as necessary.

Positions patient and performs imaging procedure(s).

Analyzes results and identifies issues with the quality of imaging results.

Takes appropriate action to resolve image quality issues, including repositioning patient and

repeating procedure.

What we're looking for

Must have a 2 year certificate, associate degree, or bachelor's degree as well as a current ARRT registration. Additional requirements include:

Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.

ACLS and PALS are required within six months of hire.

One year of experience preferred

ASLS certification preferred
