About Us

Hansen Contracting & Repairs is a locally owned residential general contractor serving North Plains and surrounding communities.

As our company continues to grow, we're looking for an experienced, well-rounded carpenter to join our team. Our work includes residential remodeling, custom carpentry, decks, exterior projects, and home repairs, so we're looking for someone who is comfortable taking on a variety of projects.

We're a small, growing company that values quality craftsmanship, reliability, honest communication, and treating our customers' homes with respect.

About the Position

We're looking for an experienced carpenter who can step into projects with minimal training and work independently when needed. This is not an entry-level position.

You'll work both independently and alongside our owner/general contractor depending on the project. The ideal candidate can be given a project scope, understand what needs to be done, troubleshoot problems as they arise, and complete high-quality work without requiring constant supervision.

This is a part-time, on-call position with variable hours and no guaranteed minimum number of hours per week. Hours will be based on project needs and employee availability.

For the right person, there is potential for this position to transition into consistent part-time or full-time employment as our company and workload continue to grow.

Schedule

This is a part-time, on-call position with variable hours based on our project schedule.

There is currently no guaranteed minimum number of hours per week. We will generally provide at least 24 hours' notice when scheduling work and will provide additional advance notice whenever possible.

Occasionally, we may offer work with less than 24 hours' notice due to unexpected project needs; employees are not required to accept shifts offered with less than 24 hours' notice.

We understand that an on-call position requires flexibility on both sides and will communicate upcoming work and scheduling needs as far in advance as reasonably possible.

This may be a great fit for an experienced carpenter looking for flexible or supplemental work.

For the right person, there is potential for this position to transition into consistent part-time or full-time employment as Hansen Contracting & Repairs continues to grow.

Compensation

$28.00–$36.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
