As our part-time Maintenance Technician, your craftsmanship directly impacts the comfort and memories of visitors from around the world.
In hospitality, maintenance isn't just fixing what's broken-it's proactive care. You will work under the guidance of our Chief Engineer to keep our guest rooms, mechanical systems, and iconic grounds beautifully functional .
What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities)
  • Proactive Care: Perform routine checks and preventive maintenance on guest rooms, appliances, electrical setups, and plumbing .
  • Grounds & Estate Upkeep: Maintain our beautiful coastal grounds, including weeding, mowing, pruning, debris clearing, and seasonal outdoor care .
  • Troubleshooting: Address heating, ventilation, and general carpentry or fixture repairs promptly .
  • Guest Service: Respond to guest maintenance calls with a friendly, helpful, and professional "can-do" attitude .
  • Safety First: Ensure full compliance with safety policies, read chemical labels/SDS sheets, and safely operate equipment like power washers and mowers .

What We're Looking For (Job Requirements)
  • Experience: Minimum of one (1) year of general building maintenance experience or an equivalent trade background . Vocational School Certification is a plus .
  • Technical Skills: Comfort with basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and groundskeeping equipment .
  • Attributes: Strong problem-solving abilities, independent follow-through, and a collaborative team attitude .
  • Physical Ability: Capable of standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs in a physically active hospitality environment .
