As a Security Officer Enhanced P Security Operations in Albuquerque, NM, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.


Pay Rate: $21.20 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeSat04:00 PM - 02:00 AM

How This Role Works:

  • Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
  • Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.


Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service to customers, employees, vendors, and/or visitors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies at a retail convenience location.
  • Monitor entrances, checkout areas, and exterior activity for unusual conditions, and report observations to appropriate personnel in accordance with site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting emergency services and/or management when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of the store, fuel dispensing areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Maintain accurate logs, incident reports, and other required documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • Handcuffs, pepper spray, and baton experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
