Warehouse Associate / Delivery Driver Job OverviewCleanco Distributors, Inc. in Farmingdale, NY is seeking a motivated Warehouse Associate / Delivery Driver to join our team on a full-time or part-time basis. This is a truly flexible role - no two days are exactly alike. Depending on operational needs, some days will be warehouse-focused, with responsibilities such as picking and packing orders, maintaining an organized workspace, and managing inventory. Other days will be driving days, with responsibility for loading up and delivering orders to customers across assigned routes. And on some days, you'll do a mix of both - starting in the warehouse and finishing on the road, or vice versa. If you're adaptable, dependable, and thrive in a hands-on environment, this is the opportunity for you! ResponsibilitiesPick and pack orders accurately and efficiently, following established procedures to ensure order integrity and on-time fulfillment.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment, including tidying work areas, disposing of waste, and conducting regular housekeeping checks.Safely load and unload products using equipment such as pallet jacks, ensuring proper handling of goods.Prepare delivery routes, plan schedules, and execute route driving to meet delivery deadlines.Operate automatic transmission vehicles to deliver orders accurately to customers' locations; vehicles may include a 22-foot box truck, an 18-foot box truck, or a Sprinter van depending on the day's requirements.Provide exceptional customer service by engaging professionally with clients during deliveries, answering questions, and addressing concerns.Load and secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transit; perform routine vehicle inspections before and after trips.Assist in warehouse organization by moving inventory, stacking pallets, and maintaining accurate stock placement.Follow all safety protocols related to heavy lifting, vehicle operation, and warehouse procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Experience & QualificationsPrior experience in warehouse operations, order fulfillment, or logistics is highly preferred.Experience picking and packing orders in a warehouse or distribution center environment is a plus.Proven delivery driver experience with a clean driving record; familiarity with route driving is essential.Experience moving pallets using a pallet jack is preferred; experience operating a forklift or reach truck is a plus.Customer service background demonstrates effective communication skills and professionalism on the job.Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical moving tasks regularly throughout the shift.Valid Driver's License required; prior experience driving a box truck (18-foot or 22-foot) or Sprinter van is required - No CDL License required.
