Laser Machine Operator (Part-Time)

Afternoon shift Monday-Friday from 4 pm to 8 pm

The Role:

We're seeking a passionate and dedicated Machine Operator who brings enthusiasm, energy, and expertise to the table. In this role, you'll operate our Trumpf steel cutting CNC machine according to blueprints and specifications, while collaborating with a dynamic and diverse team to achieve shared goals. If you enjoy tackling challenges with positivity and a bit of humor, you'll feel right at home here.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Operating the Trumpf laser cutting machine
  • Lifting and handling of steel plates using overhead crane, clamps, and magnets
  • Cleaning & maintaining department equipment
  • Labeling and organizing parts to meet production standards
  • Maintaining equipment, preventative maintenance schedule logs

What We're Looking For:

  • At least 2-5 years of experience operating machines
  • Mechanical aptitude (skilled using hand tools and instruments)
  • Able to organize assigned tasks for completion alone or with help.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment background checks and drug screening
