Fort Wayne, IN (Ardmore Ave)

PART TIME 1st shift: Suggested schedule is Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. 7:50 am-3:20 pm.

Start: $19.84/hr - $21.45/hr within ~6 months

What you'll do

  • Reading and interpreting production orders to determine priorities and specifications
  • Setting up and operating re-spooling equipment
  • Monitoring wire winding to ensure even, accurate spooling and making adjustments as needed
  • Performing cleaning processes using Hot Alkaline or Ultrasonic systems (as applicable)
  • Conducting eddy current testing to identify defects in wire materials
  • Visually inspecting wire to ensure quality standards are met and labeling and packaging finished materials accurately

What we're looking for

  • 1 year of previous manufacturing experience is preferred
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
  • Voluntary overtime only - you control extra hours

Work Environment

  • Lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Pushing/Pulling Requirements: 1 lbs. to 10 lbs.
  • May be required to perform work above shoulder height
  • Frequent bending, twisting, lifting, and squatting
  • Must be able to access all areas of operation
  • Standing/walking most of the shift
  • Visual Acuity
