Part-Time Service Cashier / BDC Assistant

Job Type: Part-Time

Les Stanford Buick GMC is seeking a friendly, dependable, and motivated Part-Time Service Cashier / BDC Assistant to join our Service Department. This is a multi-role position that combines customer service, cashiering, administrative support, and assisting our Business Development Center (BDC) with incoming phone calls.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Process customer payments accurately and efficiently.
  • Balance and reconcile the daily cash drawer.
  • Scan, organize, and electronically file repair orders and dealership paperwork.
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls.
  • Assist the BDC by answering overflow calls and helping schedule service appointments.
  • Transfer calls to the appropriate department when needed.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure completed paperwork is properly filed.
  • Keep the cashier and reception area clean, organized, and welcoming.
  • Deliver an outstanding customer experience from arrival through vehicle pick-up.

Qualifications

  • Previous customer service, receptionist, cashier, or call center experience preferred.
  • Automotive dealership experience is a plus but not required.
  • Strong communication and phone etiquette.
