Timp Vision Clinic in Highland and Pleasant Grove is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Optometric Technician to join our eye care team. Full time, will consider part time. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in assisting optometrists in providing exceptional eye care services. As an Optometric Technician, you will be responsible for performing various tasks to support optometrists, ensuring a smooth and efficient flow of daily operations within our eye clinic.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Assist optometrists in conducting preliminary vision tests and gathering patient eye health information.
- Prepare examination rooms and maintain cleanliness and organization.
- Operate and maintain ophthalmic equipment, ensuring accurate calibration and functionality.
- Obtain patient medical histories, including symptoms, allergies, and current prescriptions.
- Provide patient education on proper eye care and contact lens or eyeglass use.
- Assist in fitting and adjusting eyewear and contact lenses.
- Manage patient files, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in compliance with privacy laws.
- Schedule appointments and handle patient inquiries, providing exceptional customer service.
- Assist with inventory management and ensure that supplies and equipment are adequately stocked.
