They execute our recipes with precision and care, ensuring every creation delights our guests.

Responsibilities

    Decorate and assemble cakes, and desserts to recipe and visual brand standards
    Follow production methods and maintain organized workflow
    Ensure cake displays are organized and visually appealing in a
    timely and continuous manner
    Prepare creams, fillings, icings, and toppings from scratch or components
    Manage daily production plans and workflows to meet cafe demand
    Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe decorating station
    Support special orders and guest customization needs when applicable
    Receive, stock, and organize ingredients and supplies efficiently
    Monitor equipment and ingredient inventory, notifying supervisors of any issues or shortages
    Manage time effectively to complete all assigned tasks
    Monitor product quality and consistency, because details matter
    Complete waste logs, production sheets, or prep reports as required
    Perform other duties as assigned to support the team.


    Skills/Qualifications

    • The ability to work in and out of different temperature ranges, stand for long periods of time, work around possible allergens, and lift up to 35 pounds.
    • Familiarity with piping bags, whipped cream, fruit decor, and finishing techniques
    • Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and labeling practices
    • ServSafe Food Handler's Certification (preferred)
    • Strong attention to detail, time management, and pride in presentation
    • Positivity, eagerness to learn, a friendly disposition and the ability to contribute in a team environment are critical.
    • Basic math (for counting) and reading skill. As well as at the ability to follow directions.
    • Minimum of 1 year of food handling or related experience
    • Minimum High School Diploma/GED or Some College, preferred.
    • Ability to work weekends and holidays.
    • High sense of integrity and ownership.
    • Time management, ability to prioritize and follow direction.
