Job Description
Scott Petroleum Cafe in Hindsville is looking for an experienced Grill Cook to join our team! We are a cozy, home-style country café known for delicious, made-from-scratch meals. The ideal candidate is passionate about cooking, experienced in grill work, and able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high food quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook a variety of grilled menu items, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner as needed.
  • Operate the grill and other kitchen equipment efficiently while ensuring proper cooking temperatures.
  • Ensure all food is prepared and presented according to café recipes and quality standards.
  • Follow health and safety guidelines, including proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and organized grill station, including equipment and utensils.
  • Assist in food prep tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients.
  • Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure timely food preparation and service.
  • Monitor inventory levels and alert management when supplies need replenishing.
