Job description

Objective of Position:
The Design Engineer Co-op will support the Engineering staff in all aspects of the engineering
systems.
Principal Responsibilities:
1. Details new drawings or modifies existing production drawings.
2. Prepares Bills of Material.
3

Completes Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) to improve safety, quality, delivery, and/or
cost.
4. Designs new parts/assemblies/systems as directed by experienced designers.
5. Assumes additional responsibilities as assigned.
Education/Experience:
1

Must be enrolled in a two (2) or four (4) year degree program with a drafting, design, or
engineering focus.
Position Qualifications:
1. Must have a basic knowledge of CAD systems with an emphasis on SolidWorks software.
2. Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
3

Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills.
4. Must possess a positive attitude and work ethic.
