CRNAs amp; Certified Anesthesiologist Assistants (CAAs)
The Surgical Hospital at Southwoods – Boardman, Ohio
Southwoods Health has immediate openings for Full-Time and Part-Time CRNAs and CAAs to join our premier surgical team. Roles amp; Responsibilities:
Whether joining as a CRNA or a CAA, you will work within a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality anesthesia care:
  • Clinical Care: Perform comprehensive pre-operative evaluations and assist in selecting anesthetic plans.
  • Anesthesia Administration: Safely administer anesthetics and perform essential procedures (IV insertion, intubation, airway management).
  • Intraoperative Management: Monitor and interpret patient data across all age groups to protect vital organ functions.
  • Patient Recovery: Conduct thorough post-operative evaluations and monitor patient recovery.
  • Safety amp; Compliance: Maintain anesthesia equipment in peak condition and ensure meticulous accounting of controlled substances.
Qualifications:
For CRNAs:
  • Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Ohio.
  • Current certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA).
For CAAs:
  • Current certification as a Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant (CAA).
  • Must hold or be eligible for a license to practice in the State of Ohio.
Requirements for Both:
  • Active AHA BLS and ACLS certifications.
  • AHA PALS certification is highly preferred.
  • Strong clinical judgment and a commitment to a collaborative team environment.
