The Role
As a Cardiac Sonographer in the Echocardiography Lab, you will operate at the intersection of advanced imaging technology and patient-centered care. This is a dynamic, fast-paced clinical environment where precision, collaboration, and adaptability are essential.
On a typical day, you will:

• Perform comprehensive echocardiographic studies , including transthoracic and stress imaging, producing diagnostically accurate results

• Collaborate closely with cardiologists, fellows, and interdisciplinary care teams to support clinical decision-making

• Ensure image quality optimization and protocol adherence , maintaining the highest standards of diagnostic excellence

• Interact directly with patients, providing clear communication and compassionate care during procedures

• Contribute to a lab environment that supports quality assurance, accreditation standards, and continuous improvement initiatives

• Engage in a clinical ladder program , supporting your professional growth and advancement within the field

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education: Must meet the education requirement for diagnostic medical ultrasound or echocardiography ultrasound certification with either CCI or ARDMS; Associate's degree preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience required.License/Certification: Registered Vascular Technologist certification required within 12 months of hire. ARDMS or ARRT (S) certification required. American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS certification required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Job requires standing for prolonged periods, frequently bending/stooping, reaching (overhead, extensive, repetitive); Repetitive motion: (computer keyboard). Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills; Attention to detail and ability to write legibly; Ability to lift/push/pull 50 - 100lbs. May be exposed to cold, dust, noise, radiation, blood/body fluids and infectious disease.
The pay range for this role is $36.13 - $51.17 hourly. Individual compensation will be determined by the selected candidate's qualifications, previous work experience, and/or education.
