Part Time Buyers Agent information

How to make $100,000 your first year in real estate?

A part-time buyers agent can aim to earn $100,000 in their first year by building a strong client network, developing effective marketing strategies, and leveraging tools like CRM systems. Success depends on consistent lead generation, excellent customer service, and understanding the local market to close high-value transactions efficiently.

What is the 80/20 rule for realtors?

The 80/20 rule for realtors suggests that approximately 80% of their sales come from 20% of their clients or efforts. For part-time buyers agents, focusing on high-quality leads and efficient time management can maximize sales and productivity within limited hours.

How much does a real estate agent make off of a $300,000 house?

A real estate agent typically earns a commission of 5% to 6% of the home's sale price, so on a $300,000 house, they would make between $15,000 and $18,000. As a part-time buyers agent, earnings depend on the commission split with their brokerage and the number of transactions they complete.

Can I be successful as a part-time real estate agent?

Part-time buyers agents can be successful if they have strong time management skills, a good understanding of the local market, and access to reliable tools like multiple listing services (MLS). Success often depends on building a solid client base and maintaining consistent communication, even with limited working hours.

Job description

Description
Full-Time or Part-Time
Are you a licensed real estate agent, or do you have the ability to become licensed?
There's no better way to start in this industry than to be a Client Services Agent, otherwise known as a Realtor Showing Partner.
The Showing Partner serves as a "nurse" while working with the buyer agent (doctor). They assist with a large number of client relationships; building rapport, showing a number of homes, encouraging and assisting clients, and helping the buyer agent with the details on his/her plate.
If you like meeting lots of new people, supporting them, being out of the office, showing houses, and never sitting in one place for too long, this is a perfect opportunity for you. If you are interested in a career in real estate, reach out asap!
And of course, you can sell homes while you're a showing partner. This is just a great way to get your feet wet and earn some money while you're learning. If you sell homes as well as show them for other realtors, that would also increase the income listed below.
Responsibilities
• Assist the agent by showing homes to buyer clients
• Assist the lead agent by identifying homes that meet the criteria as specified by the lead agent after the lead agent has completed a needs analysis
• Working with buyer clients to refine their needs and wants based on seeing homes
• Calling customers and clients to gather more information on their home search criteria
Qualifications
Must have a real estate license to show homes
• Professional in attitude and appearance
• Possess the ability to connect with a variety of personalities
• Enthusiastic with excellent people skills
• Ability to communicate effectively (oral and written)
• Be a team player who thrives working with a tight-knit company where their activities directly affect the bottom line
• Ability to spend a large amount of time driving in their car
• You must like working with and talking to people
• Finding homes that meet the buyer clients' criteria
• Must have your own transportation
