This role will provide hands-on experience across several areas of the business, including:

  • Supporting sales and business development initiatives

What Your Day Will Look Like
  • Make outbound calls to candidates regarding available job opportunities
  • Connect with candidates by phone, text and email
  • Conduct brief phone screens to learn about candidates’ experience, availability and job preferences
  • Explain job responsibilities, schedules, pay rates and hiring requirements
  • Match qualified candidates with appropriate openings
  • Schedule interviews, orientations and other hiring steps
  • Document candidate conversations and update information in our applicant tracking system
  • Follow up with interested candidates and keep them engaged throughout the hiring process
  • Provide a friendly, professional and positive candidate experience
What We’re Looking For
  • At least two years of experience in customer service, call center, telemarketing, staffing or another phone-focused position
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Confidence making outbound calls and speaking with a wide variety of people
  • A friendly, professional and engaging personality
  • Dependability and the ability to work independently
  • Good organization and attention to detail
  • Comfort using computers, email and basic office technology
  • A genuine interest in helping people find employment
  • Previous recruiting or staffing experience is helpful but not required
Schedule and Work Location
This is an onsite, part-time position. Candidates must be comfortable working from one of our Metro Detroit offices in Clawson, Detroit or Mt. Clemens.
Our primary coverage needs are:
  • Monday–Friday from 4:00–9:00 p.m.
  • Saturday from 10:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m.
