Public Health Business Analyst
The Opportunity:
Support public health analytic initiatives for government health agencies. Formulate and define systems scope and objective through research fact-finding combined with a comprehension of applicable business systems and industry requirements. Conduct qualitative analysis of existing implementations and provide thoughtful, strategic improvement recommendations. Conduct requirements gathering sessions with client stakeholders using interviews, document analysis, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, and workflow analysis. Translate requirements into technical specifications. Identify gaps in processes and opportunities for improvements and automation. This position is located in Atlanta, GA.
You Have:
  • 3+ years of experience working directly with business system users to elicit and document complete, accurate, and testable requirements
  • Experience with IT or data analytics
  • Ability to document business requirements, functional requirements, and system touchpoints, including management driven requirements, reporting and dashboard requirements, and workflow requirements for business processes
  • Ability to interface directly with stakeholders, actively listen to their needs, and document all requests
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:
  • Experience in government health agencies
  • Experience utilizing modern project management software such as Jira or Azure DevOps to manage backlogs and log defects
  • Knowledge of Palantir Foundry
  • Knowledge of data structures, relational databases, data lineage, and data governance principles

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $55,200.00 to $126,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
