Reliable Building & Maintenance Services is in search of a skilled and reliable Janitorial Porter to joinour maintenance team.


Employee will be responsible for all upkeep and maintenance of residential building and its property. Candidate will be responsible for identifying the need of repairs, responding to tenant/shareholder maintenance requests, and reporting equipment failures to management. To be an effective Janitorial Porter, employee must be skilled and hard-working, with outstanding problem-solving abilities. Skillful hands, good physical stamina, and strong technical knowledge are
important parts of the successful candidates’ talents.

Position Description & Responsibilities

Must be able to perform the following tasks:
 Willingness to see something that needs to be cleaned, cleaning it without being asked.
 Cleaning spills of all types.
 Shoveling and preparing grounds for inclement weather.
 Ability to create and maintain the facility’s organization.
 Cleaning all surfaces and equipment.
 Need to be able to manage dust and dirt.
 Maintain the facility through painting, cleaning, pressure washing, checking oil gauges etc.
 Foresee problems and implement preventative solutions.
 Perform logical troubleshooting (assessing a problem, developing a strategy with management and completing a job well and efficiently).
 Perform additional jobs as needed.

Requirements
 A minimum of 2 years’ working experience in a similar role.
 Must be able to lift at least 40 pounds at a time.
 Organized with good communication skills.
 Detail-orientated with an aptitude for problem-solving.
