Job Title: Part-Time Custodian / Janitorial Cleaner – Quad Cities
Location: Quad Cities Area (Davenport, IA; Bettendorf, IA; Moline, IL; Rock Island, IL)

Job Type: Part-Time Only

Schedule: Morning, Evening, Late Evening–Night

Work Location: In person (multiple job sites in the QCA)


Professional Building Services (PBS) is hiring dependable and reliable part-time custodial cleaners for multiple commercial locations throughout the Quad Cities area.
Commercial cleaning is a fast-paced industry, and scheduling decisions can be time-sensitive. If selected to move forward in the screening process, prompt responses are required once contacted.
Recruiting Hours: Monday–Friday between 6:00 AM and 9:00 AM (CT)

Pay Range: $11.25–$15.00 per hour, based on location, job duties, and other job-related factors.


Job Responsibilities:

Perform general cleaning duties including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming. Clean and sanitize restrooms and restock supplies. Empty trash and transport waste to disposal areas. Maintain cleanliness of common areas including hallways, lobbies, and break rooms. Follow all safety, health, and site-specific procedures. Work with cleaning chemicals and supplies.


Qualifications:

Reliable attendance and punctuality. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Attention to detail and commitment to quality work. Ability to follow safety guidelines and site instructions. Ability to perform physical tasks associated with custodial and janitorial work.


PPE Requirements:

Some locations require mandatory PPE to be permitted on-site. Steel-toe boots are required at select locations. PBS provides one issued set of required PPE including a hard hat or bumper cap, safety glasses, ear protection, and a safety vest. Employees are responsible for replacing any lost or misplaced PPE items.
