Description
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Part-Time Maintenance Technician to join our growing team! In this role, you will help ensure our properties and facilities remain safe, clean, and fully operational by performing routine maintenance, inspections, and minor repairs.
The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and able to troubleshoot issues efficiently. We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, works well with others, and has previous maintenance or handyman experience.

Responsibilities
Perform basic maintenance and repairs, including:
• Drywall repairs
• Painting
• Minor plumbing repairs
• Basic electrical repairs
• Lock and fixture replacement
• Prepare units for turnover between tenants
• Inspect property conditions and identify maintenance needs
• Maintain common areas
• Coordinate outside vendors when specialized repairs are required
• Show available apartments to prospective tenants
• Collect rent and follow up with residents when necessary
• Assist with eviction processes when required
• Coordinate and prepare units for new tenants
• Maintain communication with the remote property management team
• Use AppFolio property management software for updates and communication
• Develop and execute preventative maintenance measures to keep our equipment operating efficiently and prevent any safety risks
• Keep a record of completed repairs and when equipment was last serviced
• Conduct routine maintenance on equipment and systems such as HVAC units, plumbing fixtures, and electrical wiring to make sure they're operating efficiently and make any needed repairs
• Take additional maintenance requests as assigned
• Examine building windows, walls, and doors for damage and perform repairs when needed
Qualifications
• Advanced understanding of maintenance equipment, procedures, and techniques
• Needs to have availability to respond on nights and weekends to on-call maintenance requests
• Superb attention to detail, work ethic, and communication skills
• Applicants should have knowledge of air conditioning units, plumbing systems, and electrical systems
• At least 2 years of maintenance experience
