Sales Representative โ€“ Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and energetic Sales Representative to support the growth of our brewery brand throughout the Memphis market. This entry-level role is ideal for someone passionate about craft beer, sales, and relationship-building. The Sales Representative will work closely with and receive extensive hands-on training from our current Sales Manager while learning all aspects of brewery sales, distribution, and brand representation.
This role will support wholesale sales efforts, manage customer relationships, and represent the brewery at tastings, events, festivals, and account meetings. Regular travel throughout the Memphis area and flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends, are required.
Key Responsibilities:
Build and maintain relationships with bars, restaurants, retailers, and wholesale partners
Promote brewery products and educate customers on beer styles, flavor profiles, and brand values
Support account growth through merchandising, new placements, upselling, and cross-promotions
Assist with tastings, events, festivals, and new product launches
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback
Track sales activity, account performance, and distribution metrics
Assist with invoicing, pricing discussions, payment follow-ups, and mileage reporting
Learn all aspects of brewery operations, including brewing and taproom exposure
Qualifications:
Strong communication and customer service skills
Self-motivated with a willingness to learn
Passion for craft beer and hospitality preferred
Valid driverโ€™s license and reliable transportation required
