Registered Nurse (RN) - Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation
Location: Covenant Skilled Nursing & Rehab at Wellspring, Saginaw, MI
Position Type: Part-Time, Night Shift
Sign-On Bonus: $5,000
At Wellspring, nursing is about more than medications, treatments, and documentation. It's about showing up for residents during vulnerable moments, building meaningful relationships, and providing the compassionate, skilled care that helps older adults live with dignity and comfort.
We're seeking a compassionate
Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation team in Saginaw. If you're looking for a role where you can form lasting connections with residents, collaborate with a supportive team, and see the impact of your care every day, we'd love to meet you.
Why This Role Matters
Working with older adults is deeply rewarding. As an RN on our team, you'll be a trusted clinical resource, advocate, and caregiver. You'll provide hands-on nursing care while helping residents and families navigate health challenges with confidence and compassion.
Your expertise, attention to detail, and ability to recognize changes in condition can make a meaningful difference in a resident's quality of life. Every shift offers an opportunity to support healing, provide reassurance, and contribute to an environment where residents feel safe, respected, and valued.
What You'll Do
Deliver Exceptional Resident-Centered Care
You'll provide direct nursing care that promotes each resident's physical, emotional, and psychosocial well-being. Through ongoing assessments and observation, you'll monitor resident conditions, identify changes, and ensure timely interventions that support positive outcomes.
Coordinate and Communicate Clinical Needs
As an important member of the interdisciplinary care team, you'll communicate effectively with physicians, nursing leadership, therapists, residents, and family members. You'll ensure that care plans are followed, concerns are addressed promptly, and critical updates are shared appropriately to support continuity of care.
Lead and Support Your Team
You'll serve as a clinical leader on the unit by guiding and supporting nursing assistants and other care team members. By promoting teamwork, accountability, and a resident-focused approach, you'll help maintain a positive environment where both staff and residents can thrive.
Maintain Accurate Documentation and Compliance
You'll complete thorough clinical documentation, medication administration records, and assessments while ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. Your commitment to quality and accuracy helps support resident safety and organizational excellence.
Promote Safety and Quality Care
You'll play an active role in infection prevention, fall reduction efforts, medication management, and other quality initiatives. By following established policies and best practices, you'll help create a safe and supportive environment for residents, families, and team members alike.
