Part-Time Brand Ambassador - Smoothie King

Smoothie Mamas, LLC

Round Rock, TX • On-site

$15 - $17/hr

Full-time, Part-time

Re-posted 10 days ago

Job description

$15/hour + paid mileage + catering bonuses. Flexible weekday hours. No experience needed.

This is not a desk job, and it's barely an indoor job.

If you want to sit at a computer, keep to yourself, and have the same five conversations all day, keep scrolling. This one isn't for you.

But if you're the person who makes friends in the checkout line, who genuinely lights up talking to strangers, this might be the most fun you've ever had getting paid. We're hiring a part-time Brand Ambassador to be the face of Smoothie King out in your community.

What you'll actually do

You're our brand ambassador on the ground. This is real, in-person field marketing, not posting on social media. Every shift you'll:

  • Pick up a batch of fresh, ready-made smoothies from our store
  • Hand-deliver samples to people right at their workplaces: offices, clinics, gyms, and shops
  • Actually talk to people about who we are, where we are, and why they'll be back
  • Hand out coupons and tell people exactly where to find us
  • Talk up our catering program and help local businesses place catering orders
  • Snap photos of happy people enjoying their smoothies

This isn't dropping a tray at the front desk and walking out. You walk the room. You put a smoothie in someone's hand, look them in the eye, and have a 30-second conversation that makes their day. The more people you reach, the better you're doing.

Who this is for

This is the best job in the world for the right person, and miserable for the wrong one. You'll love it if you:

  • Could talk to a wall and make it laugh
  • Believe confidence and kindness get you 99% of the way through life
  • Bring real, genuine energy every single shift
  • Hear "no thanks" and think "their loss, next one's a yes"
  • Show up when you say you will, every time

If you've done promo work, product sampling, or any kind of customer-facing job and loved the people part, you'll feel right at home. Students welcome. No experience needed, we'll train you. We care way more about your attitude than your resume.

The honest reality check

Let's be straight so you can decide for yourself:

  • There's real driving. You'll be in your own car a lot, going business to business across the area all day, not just walking one office park.
  • It's outside, it's a lot of walking, and it's hot in the Texas summer.
  • You'll give the same friendly pitch 40+ times a day.
  • Some people will wave you off. Most won't. You can't take it personally.
  • You're on your own out there. Nobody's looking over your shoulder. That's freedom and responsibility both.

If that sounds draining, this honestly isn't your job. If it sounds like a great day, keep reading.

The pay

  • $15 per hour, paid weekly. Flexible part-time, weekday daytime hours, which is when businesses are open and staffed.
  • Paid mileage. You drive your own car between businesses, and we reimburse every mile at the standard IRS rate. The gas is on us.
  • Catering bonuses. Bring us a catering order and earn $15 to $50 on it, on top of your hourly. The more catering business you land, the more you take home.
  • Start at one store, earn your way to more. Prove you're great and pick up routes across all four of our locations.
  • Free smoothies, obviously.

Room to grow: catering and a path to full-time

This job has a ceiling only if you want one. The reps who shine don't just hand out samples. They talk up our catering, leave our manager's card, and bring in real catering orders for offices, teams, and events. Every order you land earns you a bonus, and the reps who consistently book catering business pave their way into a full-time community marketing role. If you've got a knack for catering sales, corporate accounts, or event marketing, this is where you turn a part-time gig into a career.

Requirements

  • 18 or older
  • A reliable car you're comfortable driving several hours a day, a valid driver's license, and current auto insurance (you'll drive your own vehicle between businesses)
  • Available weekday daytime hours
  • Comfortable being on camera, since you'll be taking photos and we love a big personality
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.
  • No experience required. We'll train you.

Why people love working here

You won't leave smelling like grease. You'll be outside, on the move, meeting new people all day, handing out something that makes everyone happy. For the right person, that's not work. That's a great day with a paycheck attached.

How to apply

We move fast. Strong candidates hear back within 24 to 48 hours. Hit apply, show us your energy, and tell us why this job is for you. Let's go.
