shape-shop Inc. is a brand-new muscle recovery studio and start-up company! We have plans to open multiple locations here in beautiful Orange County, with our first studio now open in Costa Mesa. shape-shop Inc. provides body roller classes and one-on-one muscle recovery sessions, with a total of 6 different muscle recovery treatment options.
We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Muscle Recovery Trainer to join our dedicated team. As a shape-shop Inc. Muscle Recovery Trainer, you will be responsible for assisting and supporting a great mix of progressive individuals who work hard and love their jobs.
The ideal candidate is detail oriented, has a strong and dependable work ethic, a positive outgoing personality, is enthusiastic to learn about our company operations, and is looking to grow within our organization. The ideal candidate maintains the ability to not only complete a task with minimal guidance, but to also think ahead and make decisions on their own. Key to the position is the ability to prioritize, be organized, and flexible, while also serving as a "go to" for all members of our team.
Role
-Welcome, assist, and provide clients with muscle recovery services for clients ranging from adults to teenagers.
-High level energy and enthusiasm for promoting wellness and healing.
-Educate clients on treatment services and their benefits
-Membership sales and assist with client scheduling
-Maintain a clean and organized treatment area and work space
-Attend team meetings and trainings
-Supervise body roller classes and offer client assistance/corrections as needed
Job Skills/Key Qualifications
-Facilitated Stretching Protocol
-Excellent organizational, verbal and written communications skills (Telephone, Email, and Person-to-Person)
-Highly self-motivated and self-disciplined individual that is able to work both independently and part of a collaborative team.
-Strong customer service skills.
-Ability to multi-task with strong problem-solving skills & operate under minimal supervision
-Excellent attention to detail and high degree of accuracy in all work
-Respect for confidentiality concerning customer, vendor and company information
-Computer-literate professional with software proficiency covering a wide variety of applications including Outlook (E-Mail), the Internet, and WellnessLiving application.
-Candidates should be passionate about people, their health and wellbeing
-Ability to genuinely connect with others in a positive way.
Job Experience
-2 years of customer service experience and sales experience
-Excellent communication and critical thinking
-18 Years of age or older
Requirements
-Currently hold or working towards a degree or related certifications in exercise science, kinesiology, dance, sports medicine, physical therapy, massage therapy, personal training or related fields.
- CPR/AED certification (Preferred)
Position
Part-Time, Hourly Position: Mon-Sat, With Flexible 5-hour shifts.
