The School of Data Science and Analytics (SDSA) is recognized for its interdisciplinary education and research, offering a full spectrum of programs from undergraduate to PhD levels. Job Summary
Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for a pool of open rank, part-time and limited term faculty positions in the School of Data Science and Analytics for the academic year 2025-2026. These positions are on an as needed, semester-by-semester basis. Rank is determined at the time of hiring and will be commensurate with credentials. These positions are for work to be performed in the state of Georgia.
Responsibilities
  • Teaching undergraduate and/or graduate courses in Statistics, Data Science, Analytics, and related areas.
  • Advising students

Teaching assignments will be based on earned degrees and SACSCOC Faculty Credentials Guidelines.
Required Qualifications
To teach undergraduate courses:
  • A minimum of a Master's degree, or the foreign equivalent, in Statistics, Analytics, Data Science, Data Engineering, Biostatistics, or a closely related discipline is required at the time of hire.

To teach graduate courses:
  • A terminal/Doctorate degree, or the foreign equivalent, in Statistics, Analytics, Data Science, Data Engineering, Biostatistics, or a related discipline is required at the time of hire.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Professional experience working in a data related field
  • Familiarity with Python, R, and/or SAS
  • Experience teaching online or hybrid courses
  • Record of past teaching at a secondary or postsecondary level
  • Post-doctoral research experience
