Bilingual Hospice Registered Nurse (RN) – Part-Time

Location: Nogales & Surrounding Areas, AZPosition Type: Part-TimeCompany: Dependable Hospice

Dependable Hospice is seeking a compassionate Bilingual Registered Nurse (RN) to join our hospice team on a part-time basis, serving patients and families throughout Nogales and the surrounding Southern Arizona area.

We’re looking for an RN who is fluent in English and Spanish and passionate about providing skilled, compassionate care that prioritizes comfort, dignity, and quality of life. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact while becoming part of a supportive interdisciplinary hospice team.

Your Role
  • Provide skilled and compassionate hospice nursing care in patients' homes

  • Assess patient needs and monitor changes in condition

  • Develop, implement, and update individualized plans of care focused on comfort and dignity

  • Provide pain and symptom management in collaboration with physicians and the hospice care team

  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered

  • Educate and support patients, caregivers, and families throughout the hospice journey

  • Communicate clearly and compassionately with both English- and Spanish-speaking patients and families

  • Coordinate care with the interdisciplinary hospice team, including physicians, social workers, chaplains, aides, and other healthcare professionals

  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation

  • Participate in care coordination and other responsibilities based on patient and team needs

Qualifications
  • Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Arizona

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish required

  • Hospice, palliative care, home health, or related nursing experience preferred

  • Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Compassionate, dependable, and comfortable working independently in patients' homes

  • Commitment to providing culturally responsive, patient-centered care

Requirements
  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing

  • Current CPR certification

  • Current TB clearance as required

  • Valid driver's license

  • Reliable transportation and active auto insurance

  • Ability to travel throughout the Nogales and surrounding service area
