What is a part time beer job?

Part-time beer jobs refer to employment opportunities in the beer industry that do not require a full-time commitment. These positions can include roles such as bartenders, brand ambassadors, event staff, brewery assistants, and delivery drivers, among others. Part-time beer jobs are ideal for individuals who want flexible hours or are looking to gain experience in the beverage industry without a full-time schedule. Many breweries, bars, and distributors offer part-time positions to meet fluctuating demand, especially during busy seasons.

What are the typical responsibilities and work schedule for a part time beer merchandiser?

As a part-time beer merchandiser, your main responsibilities include stocking shelves, rotating beer products to ensure freshness, setting up promotional displays, and maintaining inventory in retail locations. The role often requires early morning or late evening shifts to accommodate store hours and delivery schedules. You’ll collaborate closely with store managers, sales representatives, and delivery drivers to ensure products are well-presented and available to customers. This position is ideal for those seeking flexible hours and hands-on work in a dynamic retail environment.

Brand Ambassador - Grand Rapids or Kalamazoo

Revolution Brewing

Ann Arbor, MI • On-site

$20/hr

Part-time

Re-posted 3 days ago

Job description

Revolution Brewing, your local craft beer proudly brewed only in midwest, is hiring Brand Ambassadors to share the story of our brewery. As a part-time, in-market representative you'll work with our sales team and local accounts to get fresh beer into consumer fists. This may be through liquor store demos, bar/restaurant samplings, beer festivals or other beer related events.  Tasting events give our company the opportunity to relate and engage consumers on a personal level while giving them the opportunity to try our product.

We’re hiring for Brand Ambassadors to work in western Michigan, based out of Grand Rapids or Kalamazoo for reasonable access to local accounts and festivals. You’ll be working 2-6 hours a week based on seasonal demands (more if you want, but we let you decide that since this is a part-time evening/weekend job), with a minimum of 3 events per month. Events typically last 2-3 hours. These engagements will be at both stores and bars/restaurants, supporting our sales team with promotional efforts.

  • You enjoy talking about beer while educating and engaging consumers on the Revolution brand! As a result you must be at least 21 years old on your first day of employment with Revolution.
  • You’ll have at least 1 year of experience in hospitality, event marketing, or brand promotion, preferably with promotion experience or as a server/bartender where you had to talk about the beers or products offered where you worked.
  • Drivers license and a reliable car is a must, as you'll travel around different localized territories with cases of beers. Revolution reimburses for mileage to and from events.
  • You’re available to work evenings and weekends.
