It takes a special kind of person to become a nurse and we're hoping that you're one of those special people who would like to be a BayCare nurse. BayCare Health Systems is currently seeking experienced med surg/tele nurses to join our outstanding and compassionate staffing resource office team. Our staffing resource office offers a variety of assignment options including:
• Region Core Float Pool- Part-time. 2x12 hour shifts per week to include every 3rd Saturday/Sunday and 2 Fridays in 6-week period. Holiday commitment includes summer and winter holiday, and hard to fill staffing day. Required to float to a region of hospitals based on census needs. All regions are available:
Region 1 includes St Anthony's, Morton Plant, Mease Dunedin, Mease Countryside and Morton Plant Northbay Hospitals.
Region 2 includes St Joseph's, St Joseph's North, St Joseph's South and BayCare Wesley Chapel Hospitals.
Region 3 includes Bartow Regional, South Florida Baptist and Winter Haven Hospitals.

Requirements:
• Registered Nurse license
• BLS (American Red Cross or American Heart Association)
• Associate's degree in nursing
• 2 years RN experience in an acute Med/Surg/Tele setting
• Prior experience with Cerner EMR strongly preferred
• Must have independent transportation for assignments/shifts
• Must be able to pass Tele test during orientation
• Flexibility
Location: BayCare Hospitals (see Regions above)
Status: Part Time, Exempt: No
Shift Hours: days
Shift: 6:45am - 7:15pm
Weekend Work: Every 3rd weekend
On Call: No
