Four Pillars Recovery is growing, and we're looking for exceptional Registered Nurses to join our team in Pinetop, Arizona. As a 17-bed medically supervised detoxification facility, we provide compassionate, evidence-based care to adults experiencing acute withdrawal and co-occurring behavioral health conditions. Every day, our team has the privilege of helping individuals through one of the most critical moments of their lives, offering not only expert medical care, but hope, dignity, and a foundation for lasting recovery.

OVERVIEW
As a Registered Nurse (RN), your expertise is instrumental in supporting life-changing outcomes for individuals navigating the first steps in overcoming addiction and mental health adversities. Under the direction of the Director of Nursing, you will work in close collaboration with both the medical and clinical teams, ensuring the highest standards of patient care, regulatory compliance, and fostering the growth of a dynamic team.
SUMMARY OF POSITION

Under the direction of the Director of Nursing, the Registered Nurse (RN) provides 24/7 direct patient care to adults undergoing acute withdrawal management and treatment for co-occurring conditions. Working within a multidisciplinary team, the RN assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates care, including monitoring withdrawal symptoms, administering medications, ensuring patient safety, and responding to clinical needs. The RN maintains a therapeutic environment, documents care in compliance with regulatory standards and supports continuity of care through effective team communication.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist the admission process by conducting pre-admission eligibility screening and initial intake assessments.
Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments and ongoing monitoring of patients in acute withdrawal.
Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and clinical protocols.
Monitor and document withdrawal symptoms, vital signs, and patient response to care.
Identify and respond to emergent clinical situations, ensuring patient safety at all times.
Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and adjust individualized care plans.
Provide patient education on withdrawal, medications, and recovery support.
Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation.
Support a therapeutic, respectful, and structured treatment environment.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) License in the State of Arizona
Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience. Detox, behavioral health, or acute care preferred
Current BLS Certification
Strong clinical judgement, critical thinking, and crisis response skills
Demonstrated proficiency with a variety software systems including Microsoft Office, CRMs, and EMRs
Customer service focused with strong interpersonal communication skills and ability to positively collaborate within a multidisciplinary team

COMPETENCIES

Demonstrates knowledge of CIWA & COWS scoring, performs accurate assessment and documentation, and communicates results to the provider
Administers medications using the "Five Rights," evaluates effectiveness, and documents accurately
Adheres to nursing scope of practice, patient rights, and safety protocols
Identifies clinical changes and supports crisis response consistent with approved procedures
Works effectively within the interdisciplinary team to support continuity of care
Perform vital signs accurately and report abnormalities
Conducts CLIA waived testing (toxicology, pregnancy) per protocol and documents results in the EMR.
Assesses, documents, and responds to suicidal and self-harm risk in accordance with facility policies, including timely notification of the provider and implementation of safety measures.

POSITION DETAILS

Job Type: Multiple Positions Available - Full-time (3x12hr per week), Part-time: (2x12hr per week), and PRN
Schedule:
Day Shift (7am-7pm), Night Shift (7pm-7am), Rotating, and weekends.
Salary:
$38-$50 per hour, depending on experience
