POSITION SUMMARY: Server provides food and beverage service tableside to residents, resident families and guests. This position maintains the cleanliness of the dining room, service stations, beverage machines, and all other work areas.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Serves meals and busses tables with a warm, friendly, courteous, respectful and engaging demeanor.
• Helps Team Members and participates in setting up and breaking down dining room tables and wait stations prior to and following meals, ensuring that the dining room is prepared for the next meal.
• Participates in the training of new Team Members.
• Assists with dining service for special functions, private dining events, and special guests.
• Clears tables, replaces linens, sets tables, and ensures that the dining room is clean and attractive.
• Cleans equipment, furniture, appliances, floors, drains, storage area, refrigerator, freezer and sinks according to schedule.
• Keeps the environment safe, clean, and free of clutter.
• Stores and retrieves residents' assistive devices during mealtimes, ensuring that safety is never compromised.
• Participates in and attends all required in-service training and education programs as scheduled.
• Other duties as assigned.

Physical Demands, Work Environment, and Expected Hours of Work: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
• 1-2 years' experience in a similar position desired.
