WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Exemplifies Muckleshoot Casino Resort’s values and sets a great example by always demonstrating excellent guest service and professionalism. 
  • Practice, support and promote the vision, mission, and values of the Muckleshoot Casino Resort. 
  • Accurately take food and beverage orders promoting and recommending menu options to guests. 
  • Clean and maintain work areas and equipment, before, during and after guests are served. 
  • Help guests select food and beverage items (i.e., explaining daily specials or answering preparation questions).  
  • Operate an espresso bar machine and prepare beverages ranging from simple to elaborate drinks. 
  • Prepare and serve ice cream orders. 
  • Follow standards for display cases; maintains, cleans, and restocks as needed. 
  • Ensure guest satisfaction by delivery of food and beverage in an efficient and friendly manner.  
  • Follow cash handling and cash register procedures. 
  • Reconciliation of daily “end of shift” financial transactions. 
  • Perform assigned daily and weekly cleaning tasks. 
  • Inform management of guest requests, inventory shortages, replenishment needs and food spoilage. 
  • Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines for all products. 
  • Provide excellent guest service to ensure a positive guest experience.  
  • Create, maintain, and facilitates a positive work environment; promotes positive team member relations and reports issues to the appropriate personnel. 
  • Other duties as assigned. 

 
WHAT YOU’LL BRING 

  • Ability to obtain a Class III B gaming license. 
  • A minimum of six (6) months’ experience as a Counter/Barista is required. 
  • Previous lead or supervisory experience preferred. 
  • Required to have and maintain a valid WA State Health Card/Food Handlers Permit. 
  • Must be able to maintain Class 12 permit and /or Class 13 Permit required  

HOW YOU’LL BE SUCCESSFUL 

  • Knowledge of health & safety standards and regulations as required. 
  • Knowledge of computers, basic software, and POS systems. 
  • Skilled in cash handling and excellent guest service skills. 
  • Ability to demonstrate a well-groomed presence and always maintain a professional appearance. 
  • Ability to effectively communicate and train staff. 
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions. 
  • Ability to learn and maintain knowledge of products and procedures. 
  • Ability to multi-task in a high-pressure environment, with attention to detail. 
  • Ability to work with and maintain confidential information. 
  • Ability to work various shifts, weekends, and holidays.
