PAY RANGE
The Target Pay Range for this position is $21.65-$24.23 hourly. The full Pay Range is $21.65-$28.65 hourly. hourly.

About This Role & Schedule Expectations:
  • Position Location: Tukwila Financial Center (TFC)
  • Training Location: Tukwila Financial Center (TFC)
  • One-Year Commitment: All Retail new hires are expected to remain in this role and schedule for a minimum of one year before pursuing other opportunities within BECU.
  • Full-Time Training Requirement: Although this is a part-time position, the first five weeks of paid training require full-time availability.
  • Schedule Flexibility Required: After training, Tellers work 24 hours per week. Specific weekday hours will vary based on business needs, and availability every Saturday is a core expectation of the role.

Training Schedule:
  • First 5 weeks, Monday-Friday
  • Full-time paid training from 9:00 AM-5:45 PM

Post-Training Schedule:
  • 24 hours per week
  • Monday-Friday shifts between 8:00 AM-6:30 PM, based on business needs
  • Every Saturday from 8:45 AM-1:30 PM

QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Typically requires High School Diploma or associated Certification (GED).
  • 1 year of customer service or relevant experience.

Desired Qualifications:
  • Teller or cash handling experience.
  • Spanish language fluency highly desirable.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling transactions.
  • Experience in promoting and selling financial products or services.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to financial transactions.
  • Successful completion of in-house teller training program.
  • Proficient math skills, with the ability to process account transactions accurately.
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills to ensure professional handling of member concerns.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member, using discretion and sound judgment.
  • Additional hours as necessary to accomplish objectives and goals.
