How Hiring - Accounting Assistant(part-time; averaging 20-25 hours per workweek).
Grapevine Relief and Community Exchange (GRACE) has an opening for an Accounting Assistant at our Grapevine, TX administration office. Note: This is an in-person position.
Company Overview
Grapevine Relief and Community Exchange (GRACE) is a Grapevine, Texas based nonprofit relief agency dedicated to providing essential services such as food, clothing, and financial assistance to those in need. Our mission is rooted in fostering self-sufficiency and community support through collaboration with local churches, municipalities, and civic organizations.
Ideal Candidates:
  • Associate's degree; 1-2 years' experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft programs (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Working knowledge of nonprofit accounting software (i.e. SAGE MIP Fund)

What you'll do:
  • Prepare daily bank deposits.
  • Manage accounts receivable.
  • Record revenue and monthly resale sales.
  • Handle grant invoicing.
  • Audit and verify daily paperwork for resale locations.

NOTE: This is a summary of the duties and not a full list. Individual job descriptions will be provided upon hire as well as discussed during the interview process.
What we'll offer:
  • Schedule: 3 days per week, Wednesdays being required. Hours can be discussed.
  • Pay: Starting at $18/hour; paid semi-monthly.
