Location: Georgetown
Description:
As a Part Time Relationship Banker, you will hold a key position within our bank, responsible for establishing and nurturing customer relationships, opening and managing accounts, and driving business growth through referrals to various sales departments. This role is pivotal in delivering exceptional customer service and expanding the bank's client base.In this role, you will be the face of the bank, responsible for fostering strong customer relationships, meeting their financial needs, and driving business growth through referrals. Your ability to understand and respond to customer requirements will contribute to the bank's success and reputation within the community.
Responsibilities that we would like for you to be excited about:
  1. Develop and maintain strong, trusting relationships with customers.
  2. Safely and accurately handle cash, coins, and negotiable instruments, following established cash-handling procedures, while simultaneously accurately processing a wide range of banking or teller transactions including deposits and withdrawals, adhering to established procedures and regulatory guidelines.
  3. Open and service various types of checking and savings accounts, utilizing tools and resources to document all services completed on our customers' accounts.
  4. Hold conversations with customers to understand their current and future financial needs to identify opportunities to make product recommendations.
  5. Provide exceptional service through our SWARM Banking approach, which involves greeting customers by name and greeting them as they walk into our lobbies.
  6. Help build the business by contributing toward monthly sales and service metrics.
  7. Refer customers to specialized departments such as mortgage, wealth management and insurance.
  8. Onboard our new customers through our follow-up routines to ensure the customer's successful use of our products.
  9. Utilize technology to educate customers on our full range of digital banking including but not limited to virtual tellers, our mobile app and safe online banking habits. Be a point of contact for customers facing technical issues/difficulties with our digital banking tools.
  10. Other Duties as assigned

Experience and Basic Qualifications:
  • High School diploma required
  • 4 year degree strongly preferred
  • 3 years of cash handling experience strongly preferred
  • 2 years retail banking experience strongly preferred
  • 3-5 years of customer service or sales experience required

Qualifications that would be a plus:
  • Experience in opening accounts for Small Business customers

Work Hours: Hours will vary depending on location assigned. Consistent weekend availability on Saturdays during the hours of 8:30am - 1:00pm.
