Job description

Baggage Runner Part Time is responsible for assisting passengers and airline ticketing agent with lifting, moving and properly transporting luggage. 

Pay Rate: $16.00/hour Weekly 

Shift:  3:00pm-11:30pm Tues-Fri 

Location:  3400 E Sky Harbor Blvd, Phoenix, AZ 85034

  • Must be 18 years of age or older. 
Preferred Qualifications: 
  • Customer Service Experience  
  • 1 yr of similar work experience
  • Meet all arrivals and assist passengers at baggage claim. 
  • Carrying or otherwise transporting passenger luggage to and from the outside sidewalk or main entrance of the airport and the inside ticket counter. 
  • Assist in proper handling of oversized luggage, kennels, and skis of up to or more than 50lbs which may require lots of bending and lifting
  • Ensure passenger luggage is placed in the belt within the designated time frame. 
  • Adhere to required security procedures and hazardous material handling requirements. 
  • Maintain and restock baggage supplies. 
  • Replenish tubs. 
  • Maintain a clean, safe work area at all times. 
  • Miscellaneous duties as assigned.
