Job description

Full Time live-out Nanny required for a happy and friendly Battery Park family with a newborn (born late July 2026), starting no later than mid January 2027. Specific duties to be negotiated with the family, but in general, you will be responsible for all child related duties including providing nurturing + proactive care and interacting with their child in an engaging, loving and age-appropriate way. To be successful, you will need to be experienced with infant care, reliable, punctual and looking to partner with parents who value good communication. The ideal candidate is able to complete light, child related housekeeping duties (laundry, meal preparation, organization, etc) and maintain all common areas in a clean and tidy state. Candidates who enjoy working closely with first-time parents in a supportive, team-focused environment would be a great match for this family! A warm, hands on and engaging nanny with education or equivalent practical knowledge of ages and stages of child growth and development is key to this role. Mom works from home full time - a candidate who is organized, independent and professional is a must!Location: Battery Park, NYStart date: no later than mid January 2027 (when Mom returns to work). The family is willing to offer a retainer or part time hours prior to this date for their preferred candidate. All interested candidates are encouraged to apply!Days/times: Monday to Friday: guaranteed 40 hours a week with general hours expected to land between 7.30am - 4.30pm (likely consistent 45 hours a week). Flexibility as needed for additional hours would be ideal. No consistent travel or weekends are expected with this role.Children: Newborn (born late July 2026) Conditions: $30 - $35 per hour* (guaranteed hours paid as a W2 employee) + all hours over 40hr paid at x1.5 rate plus unlimited monthly OMNY card, sick/personal days, public holidays and at least two weeks paid leave per year.
