Part Time Az information

What are the typical scheduling expectations and flexibility for a Part Time AZ Driver role?

As a Part Time AZ Driver, schedules can vary widely depending on the employer and type of freight. Many companies offer flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, to accommodate both company needs and drivers' availability. It's common to be assigned routes on an as-needed basis, and some roles may allow you to set preferred days or shifts. Communication with dispatch is key to managing workload and balancing personal commitments. Be prepared for occasional last-minute changes, especially during peak delivery periods.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Part Time AZ Driver, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Part Time AZ Driver, you need a valid AZ driver's license, a clean driving record, and experience with commercial vehicle operation. Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELDs), GPS navigation systems, and adherence to transportation regulations is essential. Excellent time management, strong communication, and a commitment to safety are standout soft skills in this role. These skills are crucial for ensuring timely deliveries, compliance with legal requirements, and maintaining a strong safety record.

What are part-time AZ drivers?

Part-time AZ drivers are licensed commercial vehicle operators in Canada who hold an 'AZ' license, allowing them to drive tractor-trailers and other large trucks. They work fewer hours than full-time drivers, often filling in for shifts, covering peak demand periods, or working flexible schedules. Part-time AZ drivers are essential in industries like logistics and transportation, providing support while maintaining a work-life balance. They must meet all licensing and safety requirements, even though their work hours are limited.

Be part of a pioneering team providing flexible, high-impact oncology care where it’s needed most.
Flexible roles across CA, NV, AZ, OR, and FL

The Oncology Institute (TOI)

Why Join the TOI FlexCare Physician Team:

  • Mission-Driven Care: Join an organization committed to delivering compassionate, high-quality, and accessible cancer care.
  • Flexible Assignments: Travel to TOI clinics that need short-term physician coverage and support.
  • Innovation in Oncology: Participate in clinical trials, evidence-based medicine, and value-based care programs.
  • Community Impact: Help ensure continuity of care and expand access to oncology services in underserved regions.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide compassionate, evidence-based hematology/oncology care to adult patients.
  • Collaborate with local clinic teams, APPs, and nursing staff to deliver seamless patient experiences.
  • Adapt quickly to varying clinic workflows while maintaining TOI’s high standards of care.
  • Support mentorship and training within local teams when assigned.

 Qualifications:

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology Oncology.
  • Active or eligible licensure in one or more of TOI’s service states (CA, NV, AZ, OR, FL).
  • Minimum of 1-year post-fellowship experience preferred, but not required.
  • Willingness to travel and work at multiple TOI locations.

Compensation:

  • Competitive daily rates.
  • Travel, lodging, and per diem covered.
  • Opportunities for professional development and permanent site placement if desired.
  • Equity opportunities if converted to full-time employment.
