This position is perfect for personable, hard-working individuals who enjoy physical outdoor work! In this role, you will operate out of our Hamilton location, and your route will take you to downtown Toronto and GTA restaurants and groceries stores to pick up used grease. Other tasks could be picking up organics and fat & bones to be recycled/reclaimed in our plant.

  • Overtime paid daily. After regular 8.5 hours;
  • Local driving all of Southern Ontario;
  • No cross-border work;
  • On-the-job training.

Schedule:

  • Wednesday to Friday (with some Saturdays);
  • Up to 3 days of 8.5 hours;
  • Shift start time between 2 pm and 8 pm, hours outside of this to be discussed before hand.

Responsibilities:

  • Picking up Organics, Fat & Bone and Grease as needed. Delivering full trailer loads to various locations.
  • Operate various equipment including the vacuum truck, bucket trailers and dump trailers to collect and/or dispose of material;
  • Operate a truck with a crane for equipment deliveries/removals
  • As needed, perform various other tasks (e.g. cleaning and/or handling and/or painting of various equipment).

Requirements:

  • A clear AZ driver's abstract is required;
  • Comfortable to do physical labour;
  • Comfortable to do dump trailer work, vac and trap work;
  • Vacuum Truck, Tanker, B-Train and Hydraulic Dump experience would be an asset.
