Food Service Attendant - ASICC-MED - Mobile Health Montreal, Quebec Full-time/Part-time About ASICC-MED: ASICC-MED, established in 1992, is a Quebec-based company specializing in mobile health services. We offer professional housekeeping and food service solutions to health centers, intermediate care facilities (RI) and seniors' residences (RPA) throughout Quebec. The position: We are looking for dynamic and caring food service attendants to join our team. You will directly contribute to the well-being and satisfaction of residents by providing quality, safe, and tailored food service. Your main responsibilities: Preparation and distribution: Prepare and assemble meals according to established menus and special diets.
Respect the portion sizes, modified textures, and dietary restrictions of each resident. Ensure the distribution of meals at the scheduled times (lunch, dinner, supper, snacks) Maintain the temperature and quality of the food until serving Hygiene and sanitation: Strictly apply MAPAQ food hygiene and safety standards Perform cleaning and disinfection of equipment and work areas Control the quality and freshness of food Follow safe food handling protocols Customer service: To provide courteous and empathetic service to residents Responding to specific requests whenever possible Report any changes in appetite or food concerns Collaborating with care teams for the well-being of residents Management : Participate in receiving and storing food Monitor expiration dates and stock rotation Maintain order and cleanliness in the kitchen and service areas Desired profile: Mandatory training and certifications: MAPAQ Food Handler Certification (6 hours) - REQUIRED OR a commitment to obtain it quickly (training provided by the employer) Professional training in food service or equivalent experience (an asset) PS16/CPR (First Responder) training will be offered if necessary.
