Basic Qualifications: Applicants for the Information Technology Management series, 2210 at the GS-14 grade level must have Information Technology (IT) related experience which demonstrates proficiency in the following competencies:

  • Directing full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) activities, including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and sustainment.
  • Supporting and sustaining Authorization to Operate (ATO) by ensuring required security documentation, control implementation evidence, and continuous monitoring activities are planned and executed.
  • Ensuring effective management of incident, problem, and change tickets, including triage, escalation, prioritization, and timely resolution.
  • Directing release governance and configuration/change management to reduce cycle time through process optimization and automation while improving quality.
  • Developing and presenting executive briefings, status reports, and risk assessments.
