Job Description:

POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT

POSITION: Lab Tutor in Drafting Technology

Location North Metro Campus

APPLICATION PROCEDURE: For your application to be considered complete, please submit the online application along with a cover letter, resume, and transcript (if applicable). Prior to hiring, candidates will undergo a pre-employment criminal background check, motor vehicle records review, and employer/professional reference verification. After initial screening, additional documentation may be requested.

POSITION DESCRIPTION: Part-time position based on semester system. This is an open-ended announcement. Each semester applications will be reviewed.

Responsibilities are centered on assisting all Drafting Technology students with their lab work and coursework. Employment is at the North Metro campus.

NOTE: Lab Tutor positions are part time positions of employment appointed on a per academic term basis. Therefore, your employment is limited and there is no expectation that your association with Chatt Tech will extend beyond this term.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A grade of B or better in all courses taken.
  • Completion of or currently in process of completing DFTG 1105 or DFTG 1125.
  • Knowledge and expertise in Drafting concepts, AutoCAD and Inventor software.

SALARY/BENEFITS: Salary--$15.00 per hour/22 hours per week. There are no State Benefits.
