  • Provide direction to the EPC Automation team and Project IS&T on the deployment of automation tools, identifying user groups, and ensuring integration of the various software tools through the CDE.
  • Drive integration across applications so cross-functional data flows seamlessly (3D model ↔ schedule ↔ cost ↔ documents ↔ analytics), reflecting the project's Level 1 Automation Diagram and AI-enablement opportunities.
  • Provide direction and coordination across functional automation leads to deliver the best outcomes for project delivery and advanced work packaging.
  • Supervise and lead automation leads and teams across all functions.Coordinate closely with Engineering to ensure alignment and integration with BIM requirements, including BIM Lead(s) at 3rd-party engineering consultants and/or construction firms.
  • Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, and Construction to ensure continuity and appropriate level of detail to support each project phase.

  • Use automation and reporting to monitor and maintain the highest level of data quality and accuracy.
  • Conduct regular assessments of Information Management Plan implementation and seek continuous-improvement opportunities.
  • Ensure implementation of the Common Data Environment (CDE), including relevant standards on its use and application across the project, and ensure Aconex is configured and managed to support project needs.
  • Receive and interpret client information requirements; coordinate with functional teams to develop the Project Delivery Matrix, including key coding structures (Work Breakdown, asset classification) aligned with Micron requirements and other stakeholders.
  • Review Procurement and Contracts tender documents to ensure supply-chain information capabilities are assessed and aligned to the Project Information Model.Liaise with client stakeholders to exchange and ensure information requirements are met; provide input into design requirements (level of detail and data attributes) needed to support required outputs across project phases.
  • Ensure adequate training is provided on the use of the Project Information Model and associated tools and processes (CDE, 4D, 5D, etc.), including engagement with off-project subject-matter experts.
  • Support the PIIM Manager to champion, develop, and implement innovation across the project - continually seeking ways the Project Information Model, Automation Plan, and digital toolkit (including AI-enabled solutions) can improve safety, quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction.

Education and Experience Requirements:
  • Requires bachelor's degree in engineering, construction, or information management (or international equivalent) and 10-13 years of relevant experience or 14-17 years of relevant work experience
