UW Medical Center-Montlake - Otolaryngology Head & Neck Surgery Clinic has an outstanding opportunity for a Audiologist Specialist 1.
WORK SCHEDULE
Part-Time / 32 hours per week
Day Shift
PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Independently plan, direct and administer evaluation and intervention to patients throughout the medical center.
Assess and treat a routine patient utilizing training in the evaluation and treatment process.
Seek mentorship and training in the evaluation and treatment of patients with complex diagnoses.
Assist patients to reach their maximum performance and function.
Collaborate with other disciplines as appropriate to coordinate continuity of patient care from admission to discharge.
Participate in program development and quality improvement tasks.
Ensure that patient charges and documentation are accurate and entered on a timely basis.
Participate in infection control, equipment training, compliance, safety and educational programs, both at the departmental and organization level.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Licensed by the State of Washington as an Audiologist.
A Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
OR Equivalent education/experience.
