Description
Do Great Things! Durham Technical Community College is hiring a Project Assistantin the Health and Wellness Department. The Project Assistant wili provide administrative and coordination support to project managers by planning and tracking activities; maintaining schedules, task lists, and status reports; coordinating meetings and documenting action items; organizing project files and records; monitoring expenses and budget-related documentation; and preparing presentations, reports, and project updates as needed.
Examples of Duties
1. Assist project managers in planning, organizing, and tracking project activities.
2. Maintain project schedule, task lists, and status reports
3. Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, take meeting minutes, and follow up on action items.
4. Organize and maintain project documentation, files, and records.
5. Assist in tracking project expenses, invoices, and budget-related data
6. Prepare presentations, reports, and project updates as requested.
Minimum Qualifications
Associate's Degree (or higher) in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field is preferred
Work Experience:
1 year of administrative, project coordination, or support experience is required
