Job description

Lipscomb University Office of Public Relations & Communications is seeking student photographers who have a passion for helping cover events on campus that the university photographer is not available to cover. Most events will be student oriented and located on campus. Occasionally, there may be off campus shoots, but not often. Student photographers will also assist university photographer in larger events on campus. May be federal work study eligible. Applicant must be a current Lipscomb student.

Experience:

  • Good knowledge of digital photography
  • Experience using DSLR cameras (ownership of DSLR is a plus but not required)
  • Basic photo editing skills

Requirements/Tasks Performed:

  • Capture high quality photography of Lipscomb campus student programs and events.
  • Maintain a professional and positive demeanor at events
  • Process captured images and select strongest compositions for marketing and web use.
  • Help maintain awareness of possible campus events and programs to be documented.
  • Must be a current Lipscomb University student
