Senior Line Lead - Kingsbury
Full-time/Part-time
EMC-R54/64-8

To accurately and expediently assemble subassembly level and/or finished products by providing instructions to the flexible assemblers in the form of verbal, written, and/or diagram.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Receive shift assignments or regular duties via instruction from Production Coordinator/schedules.
  • Accurately perform assembly of subassemblies and products in a safe and expeditious manner.
  • Communicate production problems, within the scope of their assignments that would either affect the timely delivery or the expected quality of their work, to the Production Coordinator.
  • Use a variety of power and hand tools such as screw/torque drivers, epoxy/glue dispensers, light bench-top machine operations, programming and calibration equipment to facilitate assembly/test.
  • Expert on all aspects of equipment and products on the line.
  • Maintain an effective dialogue with all employees to foster good employee morale.
  • Organize work areas before, during and after assignments. Is responsible for general housekeeping and organization of workstations.
  • Obtain solder certification.
  • Must be able to train new employees.
  • Capable of addressing major employee concerns and conflicts.
  • Can diagnose and resolve major equipment issues.
  • Strong knowledge of AS400 to check inventory levels, stock targets, IP’s, sales orders.
  • Has responsibility for a large number of employees and or multiple product lines.
  • Strong technical knowledge of processes and equipment.
  • Solve issues without asking or needing supervisor input.
  • Meet plant metrics for On Time Index, RMA returns, and Productivity.

Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s):

  • Limit mistakes by reviewing quality of own work and following instructions
  • Meet production Takt time or expected pieces per hour per Manufacturing Order
  • Achieve Safety objective for the plant
Requirements:

Required Skills / Experience / Equipment Operation:

Must be 18 years of age.
Must be a US citizen or have authorization to work in the US issued by the Department of Homeland Security.
Minimum of 5 years of service.

Physical/Mental Essential Functions:

Able to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time
Able to read/speak in English and follow verbal/written instructions
Able to count and sort
Able to interact/communicate with respect of fellow co-workers and management
Able to push/pull and reach above shoulders
