Job description

About New Covenant Media
New Covenant Media is a content-driven marketing agency helping real estate professionals and service business owners build high-end visual brands. We specialize in real estate photography, short-form video, and digital media systems.
We are expanding across Richmond, VA and Maryland, and we're looking for ambitious, media-minded Interns who want hands-on experience on location, direct mentorship, and a clear path toward becoming a paid lead media creator.
What You'll Learn & Do
As a Real Estate Media Intern, you won't be stuck behind a desk or fetching coffee. You'll be out on real property shoots learning the real estate media business from the ground up:
  • Field Training: Shadow lead photographers on active real estate shoots across Richmond or Maryland.
  • Specialized Tech Skills: Learn high-demand industry tools, including CubiCasa (digital floor plans) and Matterport (3D virtual tours).
  • Composition & Staging: Learn how to shoot interior/exterior real estate photography, control lighting, and set up spaces for maximum visual impact.
  • Media Management: Assist with asset organization, file transfers, and learning our same-day media pipeline.
  • Client Relations: Gain real-world experience communicating professionally with real estate agents and homeowners on site.

What We Provide
  • Direct Mentorship: Learn professional techniques, gear workflows, and industry standards from active media pros.
  • Portfolio Assets: Build a professional real estate and architectural media portfolio you can actually showcase.
  • Growth Pathway: Top-performing interns will have the opportunity to transition into paid Contract Photographers taking on their own independent shoots.
  • Flexible Hours: Designed to fit around class schedules or other part-time commitments.

Who This Is For
  • Location & Mobility: Based in (or near) Richmond, VA or Maryland with reliable personal transportation and a valid driver's license.
  • Passion for Media: Students or aspiring creatives interested in photography, videography, real estate, or visual marketing.
  • Reliability & Attitude: Punctual, detail-oriented, coachable, and professional on site.
  • Gear: Owning a DSLR/Mirrorless camera is a strong plus, but enthusiasm, reliability, and willingness to learn matter most.
