About the Position:
Doyle Auctioneers & Appraisers is seeking part-time Exhibition Staff to assist clients during weekday and weekend exhibition hours year-round. The ideal candidate is energetic, warm and welcoming. Doyle Exhibition Staff work with the Client Services department to develop relationships with new and returning clients. Excellent opportunity for an individual interested in jewelry and/or the arts. Must be available Saturday, Sunday, Monday from 11:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
Responsibilities include:
• Welcoming clients to the exhibition.
• Ensuring the safety and security of clients and property.
• Providing clients with information about the auction, including how to bid and how to request condition reports.
• Offering clients exhibition materials like gallery guides as needed.
• Handling prints and paintings as needed, including removing them from walls and returning them to their location.
Requirements:
• Professional, polished demeanor.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to stand for periods of time between breaks and lunch.
• Second language preferred.
