Job description

Position & Office Overview

As a Human Resources Clerk, you bring values in a way that is critical to the success of the organization. You are the key component in ensuring the fulfillment of all employee relations. You are extremely tech-savvy and are comfortable using computers and other office equipment to complete administrative tasks.  Versatile, organized, and dependable are all key characteristics that your peers would use to describe you.  You get the “big” picture and want to contribute accordingly – and that’s why you’ll have all the opportunity for career growth within our company you’ll want.  


Responsibilities
  • Represent the organization or department in filing, scanning, copying, data entry
  • Maintain accurate and complete filing of employee documentation
  • Compare corporate personnel files with branch office files of terminated employees make sure corporate files are complete
  • Search for and investigate information contained in files, insert additional data in file records to keep files current
  • Manage incoming material, verify accuracy, sort distribute and code information according to current procedures
  • Scan materials or copy records and examine materials for eligibility
  • Implement changes to the filing system as directed; dispose purged employee files in accordance with an established data retention schedule or legal requirements
  • Scan payroll reports; receive incoming mail/packages and deliver them to the addressee
  • Enter PCTP/MAT/BPM courses taken by employees into the HRIS system
  • Maintains list of labor law posters for offices and works with the labor law poster company regarding shipment as required
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required

  • 2-3 years of experience in Human Resources support
